Three strong brands span the entire spectrum of products serving the consumers of luxury foods, alcohol and tobacco and supply luxury accessories for domestic interiors. “The professionals’ glass” – so runs the slogan of the SCHOTT ZWIESEL brand, which, with its internationally patented Tritan® crystal-glass trade mark, is a world leader in the international de-luxe hotel-and-catering segment. In 2007 the company opened a new department in the area of food and cooking: the longestablished German brand JENAER GLAS is the household name for timeless, elegantly designed utensils and other kitchen accessories made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass. ZWIESEL 1872 is the company’s lifestyle brand producing exclusive, mouth-blown crystal glass collections. Oenological expertise and excellence in design catering to professional needs and domestic indulgences all go to determining the products produced by the brand.

Founded in the Bavarian village of Zwiesel (Germany), ZWIESEL KRISTALLGLAS exports to over 120 countries. A consistent strategy of investment in new technologies and products coupled with a sustainable programme of operations form the core of our company philosophy. The internationally patented Tritan® technology established the company as the leading innovator in the industry. Since 2008 ZWIESEL KRISTALLGLAS has been certified as compliant with environmental management norm ISO14001:2004. The company’s own newly introduced ‘eco profile’ (ISO 14040:2009) provides a regular breakdown of the constituent elements used in SCHOTT ZWIESEL’s Tritan® crystal glasses. All stages in the manufacturing process that affect the environment (acquisition of raw materials, energy consumption, emissions etc) are measured, analysed and evaluated.
ZWIESEL JAPAN CO., LTD.
Zwiesel Japan, Japanese subsidiary wholly owned by Zwiesel Kristallglas AG., was established in 2004. The company is the sole importer in Japan of the items belonging to the 3 brands: Zwiesel 1872, Schott Zwiesel, Jenaer Glas. Through a network of local dealers, Zwiesel Japan supplies luxury hotels and restaurants and its products are also available in the best Department Stores and selected Interior Shops.
